DR TOOT Brass & Woodwind Specialist present a vintage (pre-loved/used / secondhand) Martin Committee lll Music Man Alto Saxophone.
According to the serial number, this saxophone was produced in 1962. “The Official Music Man” model, a limited edition horn produced in 1962-1964 after the movie of the same name.
These The Martin horns were Martin’s flagship professional models of the era, with the Music Man being that much more icing on the cake. If you google this model, you can find some info and some people say that the Music Man model is the rarest Martins.
This particular saxophone has been relacquered some stage in the USA. Therefore, you can see that the engraving is less clear, and we made it the lower price.
Sean has done a light service (includes replacement of 2 pads, many keys corks and gooseneck cork) and he recommends that the new owner in time should get the saxophone overhauled to its original glory.
